718 horsepower and 94mpg are two very good reasons to get hyped over this car. It's having your cake and eating it.

I just hope they put on some better looking rims, the concept wheels were too sci-fi for me.

The new car will look almost completely different, it will only have the same general shape.
The wheels are just typical concept car wheels, nothin permanent.

the wheel covers are meant to reduce drag and improve fuel economy , you can remove them , they are just some plastic covers.

hopefully they develop a bit further from these originally source pics. it should be pretty special as its not a 911 or cockster :D

Hope they don't touch the front design, but please do something with that ugly rear!

It never ceases to amaze me how most people who will never be able to purchase Q-cars like this summer stunner criticize them to death!

Looks like an R8.
No seriously, from the rear there's a definite hint.

I think the guys at Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG, Stuttgart,(Phew!) really did a good job on this one...

Only a delusional fan boy could look at this car & not conclude that Porsche has NO competition.

Half a million euro??? That's a lot. I wonder if it will be as good as Carrera GT and how it works with an electric power? Can't wait.

it's better than the Carrera GT. the only thing this car won't have is the epic sound of the CGT.
July 29, 2010 3:31 am
How do you know it's better??? In case of 911 some say that the old Porsche models are better like 993 Turbo than 997 Turbo despite it's more powerful and faster. We will see is it better or not, by watching, reading the reviews or asking the people who drove CGT and will drive 918 Spyder.

@ Francois , i'm talking about technology and performance , you are talking about subjective things and personal preferences.

I can't wait to drive one... on a video game. Seriously though, I love that this car will exist. It's numbers were proven on simulators, now Porsche will prove them in reality!

The future of the Hyper Car - 3.2 sec to 60 and 3L per 100Kms. How can someone NOT be excited by this?
