One-off Pagani Zonda HH teased

 One-off Pagani Zonda HH teased
Pagani Zonda HH teaser photo, 800, 28.07.2010

We hope this forum re-post we found on the Teamspeed website is true, as it brings mention of another one-off Pagani in the pipeline.  This time, the would-be car is for a US-based customer, who will keep the car in Switzerland if he is not allowed to import it into the States.

The Pagani Zonda HH would have a great deal of outward similarity to the Zonda F Roadster, and would be painted in a color close to Monterey Blue.  Weight on the car would be kept lower by the use of a carbon-titanium tub, ceramic-titanium exhaust, and carbon-ceramic braking.  These parts and others could translate to a 30-percent lighter Zonda, bringing vehicle weight down to 1,210 kg (2,670 lbs).

The Zonda HH would also use the same Mercedes-Benz AMG V12 ffound in the Cinque that cranks out 680 horsepower (507 kW).  The robust engine will be mated to a manual transmission, as this particular driver prefers to use a stick shift instead of steering wheel-mounted paddles.

Until then, we'll just have to enjoy the renderings seen here.  We will definitely keep an eye on the car's website for any new developments, which we will pass along on WCF.

I think Pagani should shelve the C9 and keep making Zondas. I'll never get enough of this car.

OH YEAH Keep making manual for the Zonda, the paddle shift just takes away the driver's involvement and in the Zonda, that's part of the experience. Which I can fully understand why EVO chose it (Zonda F) as the best driver's car ever made

I hope PZ don't lose the plot! They need to keep making cars that can generate money and prestige factor. They've got nothing to prove by doing this one-off. Hulk Hogan indeed!

"The robust engine will be mated to a manual transmission, as this particular driver prefers to use a stick shift instead of steering wheel-mounted paddles." - Good man! You tell 'em the right way to do it! That all sounds like quite a recipe. Normally I don't like endless one-offs and LEs, but Pagani's philosophy for the Zonda was that it would be tailor-made to each customer (many owners swap out engines and minor body parts from other Zonda variants to make their perfect car), so what this really is is someone asking for something special. Thus, Pagani makes it seem special by teasing it to excite us Zonda fans! Also, WCF, don't call it carbon-titanium, call it what Pagani call it. Call it CarboTanium. It makes it sound like a comic book robot! "General, it's not working!" "Well then there's no other option. Send in CarboTanium!"

as first! you talk nonsense, second! who are you to judge about something that is last 5 years best in the world by unanimous decision...pagani zonda is MASTERPIECE OF ENGINEERING AND HAND BUILT QUALITY...every detail is studied to the last variables... and one more thing, if you dont know what carbon-titanium and ceramic-titanium means that tells that you are living in late 90" this is the latest technology and if you don't know about that better shut up!

At first! You talk nonsense! Second, I never criticised the Zonda - I love it - I just prefer manual transmissions to flappy-paddled ones. CarboTanium is made up of carbon fibres woven together with titanium wire to make a material much stronger than ordinary CFRP. That was the only ###-titanium part I meant with the CarboTanium bit.

Dear Santa: I've been a good boy, well at least for 3 months of this year. Since I've been a good boy, I believe I deserve one Pagani Zonda HH. I don't mind the color, I just want one for me. I know you don't usually do deliveries during summer, but can you make an exception for me; please? Oh, and can it come with his own huge racing track and his own oil refinery? It's not fun when you can't use your toy!
