Following the official release of the all-new Audi A7 Sportback, the German automaker has revealed the first full set of photos and details featuring the two S-Line kits that will be available for the car.  While one package includes both interior furnishings and new wheels, the other updates the exterior.

With the first package, the five-door will sit on aluminum 9x19-inch wheels that feature a nice design with five double-spokes.  20-inchers are also available.  At the same time, the car's suspension is tuned, lowering the car by 10mm.  Inside, the driver will use a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel while sitting in either all leather or black leather and Alcantara seats.  The cabin also features a choice of brushed aluminum, black lacquer, or brown wood trim.

Meanwhile, the customer can step it up by also purchasing the exterior S-Line package.  It gives the fastback coupe a more aggressive feel with a new front bumper and spoiler, rear end with a diffuser, and redesigned side sills.  Chrome exhaust tips are also fitted at the rear.

Presumably, the S-Line packages will be available on the Audi A7 Sportback when it comes on the European market later this year.

I can understand the frustration, but the A7 is as dramatic a design as they come for Audi. The Merc CLS-derived shape gives the A7 a 'fastback' look at the rear hindquarter. The last Audi fastback was the legendary Quattro! German car firms are traditionally traditional in their design languages; does anyone 'feel anything' for the Panamera from Porsche? Exactly! Still, the A7 though hardly groundbreaking, ticks the right boxes for me aesthetically and I'm sure dynamically too. That's why they've sold so well over the past two decades by keeping things simple yet eye-catching.

Premimum car segment is clearly dominated by the three german brands. So Lexus is out of this game. Seems that BMW will be again the winner of this year. After 6 months it has 29,000 cars sold more then MB. As far as the second place is concerned, it is difficult to say who will get it. MB sold only 1,750 cars more than Audi in the first half of the year, due to an unexpected increase of their sales in the month of June. Anyway, as far as target customers are concerned, there is a direct competition between BMW and Audi, while MB has to a certain extent a different target buyer. I would say a more conservative one.

Lol ForceInduction, Benzes are driven by old men and u know it and it seems that u have never heard of Horch (Audi is the latin form of Horch), the cradle of Audi, which existed long before VW was founded. Audi is even older than BMW.u don`t know much about german cars i have to say.

@ForcedInduction: Wow you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. You clearly know absolutely nothing about cars. If you had even the slightest bit of intelligence you'd realize that Audi has grown far more than the other two. The numbers support it, and clearly many people love and respect Audi, including big names such as Lindsey Vonn, Robert Downey Jr., and many others, not to mention the German Parliament which uses more A8s as official vehicles than the other two. You're just a dumb fanboy who doesn't believe in using evidence to support a statement.

Did you guys learn about Audi's growth from there commercials? lol. The only reason Audi was growing faster was because they were so much smaller, and they had a lot of room to grow to get to the level of MB and BMW. Also Audi barely existed for a good part of the last century until VW started building audi cars, and about 90% of there cars were butt ugly last century.

even more impressive, Audi came back from the dead and now, in just 20 years, they are not far away from claiming the no 1 premium spot. Audi is developing on its own, they are building some synergies with VW parts yes, but i´d rather have some VW developed parts in an Audi, than Fiat parts in a Ferrari, Volvo parts in an Aston Martin, Renault parts in a Benz/Smart or Peugeot parts in a BMW/MINI.

@F10V8tt: Doesn't matter where the information comes from. The numbers are there, I have seen them. And the low end Audis aren't the only cars that they are selling. The number of A8s has vastly increased all over the world, especially in the US which is a huge market. And for the record, the high-end Audis have very little to do with VW, and they are very popular. The fact that Audi was able to multiply its market share by that much in such a short time is all the more impressive, considering that MB and BMW were well established at the time. There is a reason why people who used to own S-classes and 7ers switched to the A8, the same goes for the C/3er to the A4, not to mention the hugely successful A5, which has very little to do with VW.

This helps a bit. I can't deny the fact that the A7 is growing on me, but when you compare to the new CLS, it just dies lol.

It would have been better if they unveiled the S7 or RS7 before this, it would have built more hype. The looks of the car didn't impress me at first, but it's growing on me, and the S-Line kit really helps!!

The front looks good but it's not like something unique or revolutionary. Don't get me wrong, I love Audi but this is just another car, nothing special.
