3-4 months ago MB stated they would not continue developing the sandwich style due to complexitiy and costs? these photos tell different story though

I didn't believe from beginning the MB story of dropping the sandwich platform. Here it is, a good platform however not all A and B class cars will share it but next gen. Renault Scenic will can.

There are a number of strong hints that Mercedes-Benz has approved selling the B-class in the USA starting with the new model. Don't be surprised that M-B officially unveils the car at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit this coming January....
