Mercedes Benz B-Class spied testing as a Taxi
A taxicab version of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class was spied in Germany this week. The second-generation five-door was undergoing testing on the Nurburgring under cover of an entire body of camouflage.
When compared to the current generation B-Class, the next model will likely get features like a rear spoiler, LED rear lighting, and possibly LED daytime runners. Though the car is expected to get a sportier appearance, it looks like the new car may have a boxier rear.
Based on the 2009 BlueZero Concept, the 2012 Mercedes-Benz B-Class could resurface as an almost production-ready concept car by the end of this year. The all-new hatchback should appear in showrooms and European taxi stands in 2011.

I didn't believe from beginning the MB story of dropping the sandwich platform. Here it is, a good platform however not all A and B class cars will share it but next gen. Renault Scenic will can.

There are a number of strong hints that Mercedes-Benz has approved selling the B-class in the USA starting with the new model. Don't be surprised that M-B officially unveils the car at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit this coming January....
