Actualy to gain this power 3 liter turbocharger v6 or line 4 is enought, when american enginers creates efective engines?

I think ElBucifer was being sarcastic... and I totally agree. All they have to do is add forced induction to the V6 engine and I'm sure it'll produce the same, or even more power, with much less fuel consumption and emissions.

A v8 Land Rover Disco 10 years ago barely produced 190hp. Torque is key in the SUV game; hp, not so much.

that V8 dated back to the 1960's, from Buick mind you (also American, and relatively inefficient in producing power commensurate with this displacement and no. of cylinders). Turbocharging today is well suited to a torque hungry SUV. Gone are the days of turbo lag, and boost which kicked in only at high rpms. Overall, it sounds like an antiquated engine... but with Fiat now at the helm, I'm sure some superb engines are in the works

Looks better than early models for sure. Maybe this one will sell well. Chrysler-Dodge-Ram seem headed in right direction. Anxious to test drive one with the new Pentastar V-6.

inefficient engine and cartoony styling... FIAT needs to be cracking the whip if they arent going to get dragged down with chrysler.

Actually it looks really really good. high improvement on design unlike other designers making nice cars look uglier i.e: bmw 5 series

Interesting to see it next to it's 'sister' GC in the background. I find it surprisingly handsome (although I would have gone with a blacked-out exterior C pillar). But yeah, compared to the new Explorer's 350hp TT V6, the only Hemi worth mentioning would be the 6.4L SRT8 version.

Maybe everything is good except engine. In modern car 90 hp per liter is minimum, i want 100 (just look at polo gti!) at least, but not 63!?

Dont care for this much, but it dont matter. Less than a year after the introduction of this venicle , there will be a "Limited" or "Special Edition" offered, cause Dodge isnt selling, like the challenger.

No doubt the previous Durango's were complete crap. But now it's based off the '05-'10 MB ML-class platform. Equal quality engineering to the Grand Cherokee but a larger appearance. This will sell well despite the juvenile grille.

I agree with everyone that say this model looks way better than the model it replaces, altho i'd say i like the grand cherokee more.
