Wald revises S-Class Black Bison Edition styling kit for W221 facelift version
Wald S-Class W221 facelift Balck Bison Edition, 1500, 15.07.2010

The tuners at Japanese firm Wald International have been busy with work on their Bentley Continental Flying Spur Speed China, but not too busy to revisit one of their earlier editions.  The facelifted Wald Mercedes-Benz S-Class Black Bison Edition is now being introduced by the company with revisions to its body kit.

Included in the package for the flagship S-Class are new front and rear bumpers, sportier fender ducts, refreshed sidesteps, and two new rear spoilers: one on the decklid, and one above the glass.  22-inch matte Renovatio wheels are in matte black with brown rims.  The color is allegedly exclusive to Wald, though we're not sure anyone would really want the clashing colors on their car.

New exhaust rules in Japan spurred the development of the split dual tailpipes which pay tribute to the Lexus IS-F.  Pricing for the Wald S-Class Black Bison Edition package for the W221 Mercedes-Benz was not revealed.

I used to like Wald kits... when they were still styling cars with elegance and taste in mind... and now it seems like as if they are trying to rip as many vents on the body as possible...

You can say what you want now, but I'm sure it takes people's breaths away when slowly approaching them in the streets...

I'm sure it would... I would stare at it myself if I were to come across one of this on the road... but nevertheless... It's still too overkill for my taste... AMG kits would be my cup of tea for this S-Klasse...

For me it's to complicated styling with many rather rubish details like IS-F styled exhaust. AMG and Brabus styling packages works. I think many other tuners makes S-Class body overtuned which makes it not elegance.

Actually they killed it adding too many details. I would keep: - The carbon roof - The front bumper. - The back bumper, but removing that ugly sporty detailing in the middle of it and add some linear lines to it. - Replace with some rectangular exhausts. - Add some //AMG wheels. They forgot that they can't go to sporty on an elegant car.
