Hyundai Veloster coupe spy video

Upcoming Hyundai coupe model caught testing on video

Here's some video of the upcoming Hyundai Veloster doing some testing in what appears to be an Icelandic-like landscape. (Could it be Iceland?)

As previously speid, the prototype of the Hyundai coupe model spotted here is wearing some heavy camouflage, so we can't gleam much about how it will look. There's still lots of wiring and gear on the vehicle which tells us that Hyundai may not quite be in the final stages of testing just yet.

We've previously caught a Veloster prototype sitting confidently next to a VW Scirocco - a model against which the Veloster will compete in the market.

The Veloster coupe base-model will come with a 1.6 liter, direct-injection engine with 122 PS (90 kW/121 hp) and 155 Nm (114 lb-ft) of torque. A 1.6 liter turbocharged unit will follow producing a healthier 177 PS (131 kW/175 hp).

Looks quite nice, time for some fresh air - already bored of the Scirocco. by the way it's in the Alps in Austria on the "Grossglockner High Alpine Road" awesome driving experience! :)

Hyundai is doing a great job lately in terms of giving their cars some cajones and some attractive, albeit derivative designs. And props for benchmarking their car on the Scirocco too. The Scirocco is a top notch car.
