Five Lotus concepts to be unveiled in Paris
Big developments could be in store for British automaker Lotus. The company is preparing as many as five new concepts for an introduction at this October's Paris Motor Show, according to Auto Express.
Following Lotus's cryptic Stonehenge teaser statement last month, the weekly magazine says the design studies will include two GT models with front-mounted engines, a new roadster, and a new Esprit. No word yet what the fifth car could be.
Also in Paris, Lotus will reveal their corporate five-year plan, including the use of new models - some of which are high-end - to boost revenue, and an overhaul of their dealership network. All European Lotus showrooms have had their contracts terminated, with effect on July 2012.

don't know about the two front engined lotus (lotuses, loti).. but the new esprit can be quite exciting. the artist rendering of the esprit is quite exciting.

Hmm, more high-end Lotii. The Evora does all the Lotusey things well, but fell short a little in the luxury/quality department. I wonder how many high-end cars this small company can get away with. I hope one of the front-engine cars is a "New Elan".
The inevitable New Esprit will have to live up to a lot of hype. They probably realise this though. That rendering looks like a mix of Evora and the Zenvo ST1.
