great news! finally Peugeot made its own Passat (see the side line and the dash) using some lexus headlights and some features from the new renault Megane (the station version's rear). well I think its elder brother or cousin - C5 from Citroen - looks way better. yeah...nice passat, peugeot!

That's a mutant you describe there...Why we can't accept that these cars have in common their class and that overall dimensions are the same. If you really want to see really different designs in the same class prepare yourself to pay premium for that because it's going to cost new assembly lines, new technologies to be applied, elevated manufacturing cost etc.

Nice looking car , really but top model only has 200hp? that's less than my E30 Evo M3.

Very nice interior. Good looking car. It will be very interesting with 240bhp Diesel. It's almost certain that it is based on the C5 which isn't actually something bad. I wonder if Peugeot wants with 508 replace only a 407 or maybe even 607?????

Peugeot had earlier stated that it is replacing both with this model.

I think the Citroen C5 is way better looking and much more creative than this.

Why does a family saloon/ sedan need 200hp. Are there that many midde aged men trying to make up for a lack of somthing else?

What? Since when was 200bhp a compensating amount? In a car this size, it's far from mind-blowing. Also, consider how it's measure up in the company car fleet - the Ford Mondeo, Vauxhall Insignia and BMW 3-Series all have variants with that or more power.

Honestly I'm a Peugeot fan.. but this one may look better in real life although i feel it looks so much like the kia cadenza from inside.. i would buy the kia over it any day

The designer must love R8's front. Bravo for interior. Very classical and elegnat. You won't get claustrophoby like in many new cars...

I'm a bit disappointed by the SW... was really waiting for it and have to say my C5 Tourer is really nicer. Will have to wait for the Hybrid technology to be available by Citroen... The sedan looks modern and nice.

There is a degree of plagiarism, but all-in-all this ought to be a good enough car.
