clean, well balanced, nothing extraordinary... black-is-the-new-silver kind of thing. a car that fits everybody from 25 to 75 yrs old.a true people's car.

After I saw this car in Detroit, in Ice Silver nonetheless, the one thought that kept on going through my mind was how is Audi going to convince anyone to buy an A3 sedan (planned 2012). The new Jetta and the NCC could very well have been badged A3s and most Americans would not be able to tell the difference.

Typical for VW dashboard boring as hell. Cheaper alternative for people who cannot afford A5... Otherwise if someone likes A5, shouldn't complain about this car body.

The Jetta Coupe, chief rivals the Scirocco and Golf GTi. Do we really need as many options as this?

Why does vw suddenly come with this? Looks pretty good, hope it gets those sidemirrors these aren't designed for a truck. I still miss the 3.2 V6, bring back the good times.

Remember, they're positioning the new Jetta models at a much lower price point. So, the coupe will become competition for the Honda Civic and Toyota Scion TC. The GTI and Scirocco will have better rear suspension setups and sell for more.
