Watch Focus RS 500 production [video]
Ford has released a new two-minute long video detailing production of the Ford Focus RS500. The car is shown as it goes through many of its assembly phases at the Saarlouis plant in Germany.
The already sold-out RS500 is seen in the beginning as a body-in-white, before being covered with 3M Car Foil. Only 500 units of the car are scheduled for production.
The Ford Focus RS500 will be sold in 20 different markets across Europe. It uses a five-cylinder 2.5-liter engine that generates 345 horsepower (257 kW / 350 PS) and as much as 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) of torque. It has generated considerable amount of interest, as it will sprint to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds, and can maintain a top speed of 265 km/h (165 mph).

Was at Le Mans Classic last WE and there was a bunch of this RS500 roaring around the track ... This car is absolutely beautiful with its black dress and red seats...
Just to say that I could not see much difference with the other standard RS in terms of sound or accelaration... at least from where I stood.
