Inspired by the '5 by Peugeot' concept

Spy photographers in Spain have managed to snap pictures of what appears to be the Peugeot 508 Sport Wagon (SW).

While heavily camouflaged, styling will likely be inspired by the '5 by Peugeot' concept which debuted at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. If you're still having a hard time trying to imagine what the production version will look like, the 508 sedan has already been caught undisguised.

Under the hood, engine options will include a 156 hp (116 kW / 158 PS) 1.6-liter turbocharged petrol, a 160 hp (119 kW / 162 PS) 2.0-liter HDi, and a 237 hp (177 kW / 240 PS) 3.0-liter V6 HDi. Later, we can expect a hybrid model with a 163 hp (122 kW / 165 PS) 2.0-liter HDi, a 37 hp (28 kW / 38 PS) electric motor, and a lithium-ion battery. It will likely have an average fuel consumption of 3.8 L/100km (74.3 mpg imp / 61.9 mpg US) and CO2 emissions of 99 grams per kilometer.

Hmm, because it's wearing thermals, it's difficult to really gain much from this. It looks like they've dropped the Gormless Garish Gallic Grin, but there's no detailed look to be had.
