SEAT Leon Cupra R World Champion Edition with 310hp announced for Switzerland
Engine tuned by ABT
SEAT has unveiled the Leon Cupra R310 World Champion Edition (WCE) for the Swiss market.
Built to celebrate the successful 2009 season of the World Touring Car Championship - where Gabriele Tarquini and Yvan Muller placed first and second - the WCE boasts a unique exterior and a cabin with Alcantara sport seats, checker flag trim, and GPS navigation.
Under the hood, power is provided by an Abt-Sportsline tuned 2.0-liter TSI engine with 310 PS (228 kW / 306 bhp) which is 45 PS (33 kW / 45 bhp) more than the standard Cupra R. Other goodies include a sportier suspension and bigger brakes.
Priced from 44,900 Francs (including 7.6% tax), production will be limited to 200 units.

It is just a cover , they just wanted to build this , doesn't matter Swiss or Italy!

Kill me , I didn't notice Seat is from Spain , Why Seat?
Swiss made your country football team look like a jack , how could you do that?

It's not actually SEAT who built this, SEAT builds the SEAT Leon Cupra R and the Swiss importer takes it and tunes it, making this somehow more official then 3rd party tuners out there.

Why make a hot version of any car for a country with such harsh road rules?

That's what I was thinking. Why give special edition Seats to a country that hates cars?
