Saab 92 could share BMW / MINI platform

Interesting. I don't get the lack of hyphen though. People will still say "Nine Three", for instance. An underscore would look more modern. Maybe if the "92" is successful - and being 10% bigger than the MINI on the same platform - BMW could use it as their own (with some styling revisions to de-SAAB it), perhaps as a 0-Series or the biggest in their planned "MegaCity" range, so they can stop slaughtering the Mini brand and sell it to someone else...

I like Nine-Two as a name. I really like the original Art Deco-ish 92. I have long thought that SAAB should bring a modern variant to market. It can evoke the original without being retro. I've got one rolling around in my head. Now if I could only render I'd be rich and famous.

i never understood these platform games, with a bmw engine and chassis why even bother calling it a saab at that point?

i hope this is the last of the Saab concept that got GM's stench all over it... its just a two door station wagon! no redeeming quality whatsoever!
