Mercedes SL65 AMG gets Black Series conversion by TC-Concepts
Topless BS
If you've always wanted a Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series with a folding roof, TC-Concepts has your car.
The company took a standard SL65 and added a Black Series body kit with a new grille, modified bumpers, and massive fender flares. For good measure, they also threw in 20-inch ADV1 'Deep Concave Series' wheels and a heavily revised interior.
Under the hood, TC-Concepts modified the twin-turbo 6.0-liter V12 engine to produce 700 PS (515 kW / 690 bhp) which is 30 PS (22 kW / 30 bhp) more than the Black Series. While no performance specifications were released, the Black Series accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).

Nice, SL65 BE with a folding roof, probably better comfort, luxury interior, no ugly%$$ rear wing AND pornographic wheels! I don't usually approve tuner replicas but in this case the car does not limit itself to being a "replica" but actually adds some things extra on the comfort side. NICE!

A much more comfortable SL65 with a folding roof
This is what the SL65 should be, not the "lightweight" Black Series nonsense

What about the suspension. The Black Series has a trick coil over suspension system. Did they keep the hydrualic ABC system or did they convert. If they did not convert then they should never even refer to this car as a Black Series. The Black has a fully adjustable race oriented suspension with sway bars. You can adjust ride height, camber, caster, front and rear, plus you can adjust front and rear swaybar preload. Plus how about the nifty rear differential fluid cooler, useless on the street but if you actually take the car to the track...... Not to mention the "Industrial Strength" rear differential and axles.
