Ferrari 612 GTO Rendered

 Ferrari 612 GTO Rendered
Ferrari 612 GTO by Sasha Selipanov

Italy meets England in Germany

Sasha Selipanov, the Angry Car Designer, has unveiled some renderings of the Ferrari 612 GTO.

Created for fun, the car looks nothing like the 612 Scaglietti and isn't intended to preview a high performance version of the four-seater. Instead, the 612 GTO boasts an aggressive appearance that borrows styling elements from the 458 Italia, 250 GTO, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, and Aston Martin One-77.

Design wise, the car features modified 458 Italia headlights, a massive grille, 250 GTO side vents, and One-77 hips. Out back, there's unique glasswork, a rear diffuser, and a dual exhaust system.

So what do you think? Let us know in the comments.

looks like a cross between 350Z and nissan GTR in the front and a cheap american muscle car in the rear end

This car is way too feminine in design to have any inspiration from an American muscle car. It definitely has a European flair to it. We don't think of muscle cars as sexy, they're just powerful brutes.

That is one good looking mashup! The front end shots in red are just jumping off the screen. Nice work Sasha Selipanov!

IMO it the same response as the above. it is too much of a mix of everything. aston, ferrari, nissan... it nice but just doesn't look like a ferrari.

front end is really well done and has some distinct "previous" Ferrari signatures through it, the rear is a bit american muscle car'ish.. the tail lights have no resemblance to Ferrari and twin central tail pipes isnt even that cool. could be a camaro from the rear lol overall ill give it a 7

I respect the work someone put into this but I doubt such a design will ever make it into Ferrari's business/product plan

It's a great design and I love it. BUT it does not have the 'Ferrari' feel.

best design concept in a long time. to all who think this looks like an Aston one-77 , or a muscle car , this car is supposed to look like the 280 GTO and the designer did a really good job mixing the old design with the new Ferrari design features. http://www.pape.ws/allan_and_rosanne/Z-Car_Stuff/Kit-Cars/Ferrari-GTO/Ferrari_GTO_files/GTO_10.jpeg

@scratchy996 Agreed....love these haters that talk utter rubbish cant design worth shite yet they blabber on and on whilst salivating.... Its definitely a slight nudge on the design methodology, I enjoy it..Silver really suits it...to be honest also even though it has a bit of an amero feel that car is DESIGNED FOR THAT MARKET....so nothing wrong.... Nice design man...

I can see for sure that this car is going to feature in gran turismo5. espcecially with this shots number 15 and 16. I am sure that all the GT5 fans will agree.
