Well done BMW. Shame they're not produced in Europe, we could use the jobs. I guess the US is their biggest market so it makes sense.

The reason a lot of large European car makers such as MB and BMW has manufacturing plants in US is because large portion of there product is actually made in Germany and then shipped by a ship to United States. It makes more sense to fill those ships with there own product and ship them back to Europe instead of make a trip across the ocean empty.

That's awesome. Funny enough, I've heard trash talk about how the X5 is not an off-road SUV like a range rover. Well, this is an example of how an SUV doesn't have to be an off-roader to succeed as an SUV. Oh, I remember BMW referring to the X5 as an SAV "Sport Activity Vehicle" or something as such. Congrats BMW !

This car has always looked somewhat unfinished 2 me, and I hate how arrogantly it carries its "I KNOW I don need 2 be an off-roader to be a high-volume SUV" attitude. That being said, all the complaining and hate stops 2 matter when U drive 1 though.
