Lamborghini Cnossus student design concept [Video]

Design study the work of automotive design student Victor Filipchenko (along with colleague Nelson Simoes)

This is a design study for a Lamborghini called the Cnossus.

The Lamborghini Cnossus is the work of Victor Filipchenko (along with colleague Nelson Simoes) who created the project as part of his thesis work at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy to earn a Master's Degree in automotive design.

The project was developed with the blessings of the storied Italian supercar maker. With a vague assignment to simply design a race car, Filipchenko took inspiration from the Lamborghini Countach (1974-1990) but created something very new with modern touches such as the thin, horizontal line of the taillights.

The name was chosen to honor the ancient city of Cnossus (Knossus), a Bronze Age ruin on the Greek island of Crete, which had its heyday back in 1600 to 1400 B.C. where the sport of bullfighting was born.

This has got to be the best concept design I've seen to date of the Lamborghini. He actually took design cues, from the countach, reventon, and other Lambo's. Now this is absolutely beautiful, something I'd build and drive. Fantastic job.Personally this is what direction the new Lamborghini should be going towards.

The front reminds me of a mix of a recent Honda hybrid sports coupe concept (can't remember the name) and Saab concepts... Otherwise, it is a nice concept.

Oh Damm!! those vents are huge at the rear, it looks like thrust boosters & this is the craziest & wackiest design ever made.

So, the Reventon wasn't close enough, so they ACTUALLY go and force a Diablo to perform sexual favours for the tumbler (I can't see ANY car being brave enough to do so willingly, so it must be...), and... this is what the infant looks like

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knossos Basic history of Western Culture... maybe not as important to know as Porsche Trivia... or is it? As for the design students, I think you should look like a designer not like a scruffy amateur. This is a serious piece of design, respect yourself, at least wear your good clothes when they take your picture, and if you don't have some, buy some Italian designer shirts to go with your Italian car make. The difference between a good designer and a bad one is not talent, but sadly, how he/she manages to market himself/herself.

Great design that have design inspirations from older Lambos, such as Countach, Diablo and Murcielago and Lambo noise dub into it as well
