Engineers at tuner outfit Kahn Design have taken their tools to the Land Rover Freelander to create an exclusive looking compact SUV.  The Project Kahn Freelander RS200 is sold complete at just under £30,000, including about £10k worth of upgrades, according to the firm.

Included in the package are new body pieces, including vents, grille surround and side sills.  Smoked lenses can be seen at the signal indicators, along with silver handles and mirror caps.  A matte black bonnet stripe was also supplied, though this can not be seen clearly in the attached photos.

What can be seen are the new 20-inch RS multispoke wheels.  In a light grey finish, the wheels match nicely with the vehicle's other contrasting elements.  Inside, the driver and passengers will be welcomed by a full leather interior with contrast stitching.  Also seen are red and white gauges, as well as RS200 badging.

The Project Kahn Freelander RS200 is now available for order as a complete model, with parts also available for separate purchase.

Following on from the hugely successful Project Kahn Range Rover Sport RS600 and the Project Kahn RS300 powered by Cosworth, it was an inevitable progression that the prestige automotive design house, Project Kahn would eventually place their signature stamp on the Land Rover Freelander.

The Freelander as the junior member of the 4×4’s most aristocrat family; Land Rover, continues to be the nations favourite SUV with its combination of car-like dynamics and smart styling explaining their popularity.

Taking inspiration from the Project Kahn Range Rover Sport RS600, the Freelander RS200 has received an extensive makeover from the king of aesthetic conversions Afzal Kahn.

The Freelander RS200 modifications include features which are unrivalled in today’s market, including to the exterior; Kahn 20” RS wheels and tyres, matt black signature bonnet stripe, silver door handles, door mirror caps, front bumper vents, body coloured style vents, side sill, front grille surround and smoked side repeater’s.

Climb aboard the RS200 and you’ll find modifications including black leather interior with contrasting white stitching complete with RS200 logo’s, steering wheel with white contrast stitching and Kahn red and white speedo and rev counter’s.

Of course as with all Project Kahn cars, the RS200 accessories are available as standalone pieces. Afzal Kahn; the CEO of Project Kahn comments: “Customising your existing car, is a great alternative, cost effective way for owners to upgrade”.

The complete RS200 is priced at a very reasonable £29,995 which includes £10,000 worth of Project Kahn accessories.

Project Kahn will shortly be announcing another addition to the RS series, news of which we will bring you shortly.

You would have thought an RS200 Freelander ought to be lower than a Range Sport! Strangely looks odd. Sport and Vogue are still best works yet from Mr Kahn.

Kahn has taken a Freelander and made it look like a Subaru Forester. It doesn't look great, but then again neither do the Forester or Freelander either.

I know I need a holiday when I start liking Project Kahn's work... Probably the best thing I've seen them produce. But I think I'm liking just the wheels, lenses and interior. The other tacky addenda you can leave.
