Refined Ultima GTR design rendered by Racer X Design
Concept and show car design specialist Racer X Design has released these pictures of the RZ Ultima. It is an unofficial concept design based on the super Ultima GTR but has been refined to be easier on the eye than the rather hardcore original. Racer X Design envisions no chassis or running gear alterations, but the skin was redesigned to look unique and stylish.
The Ultima GTR can achieve a 9.9-second quarter mile at 143mph (230km/h) terminal speed and it even claims to hold the unofficial, unsanctioned lap record at the Top Gear test track. Its credentials are therefore not in doubt, only its accessibility through the naked eye and the ability to attract a wider buying audience. Racer X Design reckons the RZ Ultima concept could be the missing piece in the Ultima GTR's impressive arsenal.
RZ Ultima
Sub 10 seconds runs up the strip, quickest acceleration from 0 to 100 mph, quickest deceleration from 100mph to 0. We all know the Ultima GTR. Performance that makes any production car trail behind where it counts: Around a track!
The RZ Ultima concept is intended for those who want all the performance that the GTR offers but with a more refined look. Even if this is still in design phase, we believe it has the potential to be the ultimate supercar.
Based on top of the GTR existing chassis, the styling was designed to leave the chassis and running gear untouched. This is what Racer X Design thinks a supercar should be. Extremely quick, stylish, and unique. The RZ Ultima promises all these qualities and more.
