Hmm I'm not sure if it's wise to make such a car EV only as it could sell a lot more if it had a petrol / diesel engine as an option. Battery technology still isn't mature enough, so the car will be expensive and have a relatively low operation radius with a single charge.

considering the original A2 was so ahead of its time, i think that's what Audi will want to maintain with the new A2. yeah it'll be expensive (like it's predecessor) and have it's limitations (like it's predecessor) but it'll also be cutting edge.

True, the original A2 was so far ahead of it's time that it didn't work as a car.

@sideskraper: what are u talkin about? sales? i guess if audi wouldnt have shut down the production 5 years ago it wouldve sold well the years after. why i?s it that the a2 has sill relatively high prices as a used car? yeah of course its a crappy car....
