Brabus Stealth 65: a second more powerful Mercedes SL65 Black Series surfaces

Deja vu?  It looks as though the supposedly one-off Brabus Vanish now has a successor.  The company has apparently developed another highly-tuned car based on the limited-edition Mercedes-Benz SL 65 AMG Black Series.

Introducing the Brabus Stealth 65, a car that has 3.8% more horsepower than the Vanish.  The 6.0-liter AMG V12 biturbo engine in the Stealth has been re-engineered to kick out 820 PS (603 kW / 809 bhp), and provides up to 1420 Nm (1047 lb-ft) of torque while the Vanish produces a little less at 800 PS (588 kW / 789 bhp) but matches torque.  By comparison the AMG-produced SL 65 BS delivers 670 PS (493 kW / 661 bhp), and up to 1000 Nm.

The car uses the Brabus T65 RS tuning kit, that includes four intercoolers, and redesigned turbocharger turbines.  It also comes with a high performance exhaust and a remapped ECU.  Brabus and Stealth badging can be seen at various points around the car, like the performance brake calipers, and the gauges.

If you want to see either the Stealth or the Vanish, you only have one place to go: Dubai.  The owners of the two cars were surprised to discover that they live in the same neighborhood, and will now have to continue a friendly rivalry of custom car one-upsmanship.  So far the Stealth 65 is leading.

What's stealthy about white paint? Anyway, I can't be bothered to moan once more about people with too much money trash-tuning supercars in a soulless, taste-deprived desert cash pit. It gets boring.

Very clever 997. Don't get me wrong though, I don't just hate all rich people. In fact if I'm brutally honest with myself, I'd probably be quite happy for this to exist in any other part of the world.

I would rather keep my SL63 and have an SLS than these cars, Mine you could and drive daily and at the end of the week not feel the need for major back surgery.

Except for a V8 locomotive diesel covered in 1/4'' of baked-on oil sludge, that is without question the ugliest 800hp engine I've ever seen in my life. It looks more like a compressor for an industrial freezer pirated from a communist fishing trawler. It's a shame that such power is represented visually by acres of black drabness.

Clown posers, all about showing off...But no brains, white car called Stealth? Then ontop of that he spent more $ on the license plate F-18...The F-18 is perhaps the loudest attack jet around..Should of gotten paint off of Skunkworks from the actual F-117 and the license plate to match. What a nub

That's the point.... Poor people are very meticulous when buying stuff, whereas rich people just do stuff for the hell of it. That guy probably just put the F-18 plate because he?s older and at his time, the big thing was the F-18, whereas you did the full research. White stealth, black stealth, trust me you won?t see him coming at you from behind with his 900HP. As for the Skunkworks paint, it is a military patent which is still a secret!!!
