I bleleive that it gonnah be expensive because of the name "RangeRover" just like the rangerover sport. Thay should be named under Landrover list. Range Rover is only one car which is the classic vouge ( the big one ) others aren't Ranges and not even worth their $$

Considering it's going to have an FWD variant I don't think it should be called RR or LR. The thing I loved about Land Rovers is that even when they started making their cars more suited to rappers instead of farmers is that their cars would still climb mountains and ford streams if asked. This one won't and it sells the brand short

@ Sub39h - Looking at that stance, I'd say the car will be more than capable to achieve what the Freelander and other LR/RR can if it's in 4 wheel drive format.

perhaps, but that's irrelevant. i'm talking about the fact that they're making an FWD version.

I get your point but a great significant amount of people who buy Range Rovers are probably not even aware of the fact that they are all 4Wheel drive and almost never use the car for what it it's capable of...remember the survey about 1Series drivers ....whom 80% thought it was FWD...

Land Rover and even Range Rovers were around LONG before the term SUV was first coined. I don't think they're interesting in conforming to what some acronym drugged marketing type thinks they should be producing.

i believe the term "SUV" was invented by Americans. this is a British (relatively) company so they don't care abou that term.

Given its size, this would have made a great, new Freelander (LR2). But given their greed LR want to refer to it as a Range Rover... Hope the quality and reliability is there to match the price!

At face value, I think it looks hot. Looks like a clean cut, Euro version FJ-cruiser... I like it, I'll wait and see...

From what I can see it looks kind of bloated

it looks bloated because it is bloated compared to the concept , they needed to raise the roof to add more headroom in the back , so it lost its sporty looks.

If it's an Edge widebody, I hope the two front wheels don't fly off in a minor crash like I keep on seeing!
