New spy pics give a better view of new taillights design

Here are the latest spy pics of the upcoming facelifted Mercedes-Benz C-Class.

Still wearing some camo to mask changes to the front bumper and rear end, the main thing to note from this set of shots is that we now have a better look at the new rear taillights. The car is braking with the indicator lights on and we can see the design of those rear LED lights.

Also expected on the C-Class is a new set of headlights with integrated LED-strip (horizontal) daytime running lights, new front bumper and a modified one at the back, as well as, of course, the aforementioned new taillamps.

Engines choices are expected to remain the same. No news yet on whether Mercedes' new 3.5 liter V6 will replace the current 3.5 liter that tops out the C-Class range, excluding the AMG model.

The new C-Class will be going on sale soon (within the next few months) as Mercedes will likely try to beat BMW and Audi to the punch - a next-generation 3-Series is due later this year and a facelifted A4 is also on the way.

looks like the back lights are mostly signal lights.

The front looks similiar with current C-Class here in OZ. Maybe it is only mild facelifted before the big one due in 2012. remember C-Class sold almost two years after 3 series and 3 series just got facelifted last year and it seems too early for C-Class. However beautiful signal lights

hardly a freshening although i'm sure they spent millions to make the minor changes. Does anyone else think LED lights look like a pixelated 80's arcade game? Why not employ hi-res screens as turning signals?
