I agree with you...they've been kind of stubborn about not doing it the way all the others are doing...but having driven cars with paddles it is the best way...
well until you've become bored with it

Finally, paddles for normal 911
are those wheel available on the Turbo, go all retro and try to make a 930 whaletail... just a thought

Mate where have you been??? Porsche has already done this... It's called the 911 Sports Classic with 23hp more & carbon ceramic breaks, on top of all that there is only 250 of them & it will set you back ?169,300 ex Tax. All this was announced in September 2009.

That's not the same thing. MTC means the 930 Turbo, which had a WHALE tail. The 911 Sport Classic had a DUCK tail akin to the Carrera RS 2.7. Plus it was normally aspirated. It was more or less just a 3.8 S with some boxes ticked for you and special grey paint.

thanks Mikeado, that's what I meant
@BroomBroom
that SportClassic is ridiculously overprice, pretty it maybe, now with those Fuch available as an option, it just doesn't makes any sense at all
and what I want is to recreate the old 930 Turbo, with its whaletail

i bet the Fuchs wheels are already sold out. they look great on the gray car.

particularly with the yellow calipers. shame you'd have to fork out for ceramics just to get them!

Really? Paddles? The aerokit is great, wheels are awesome but not the click click paddles... Seriously people if you like the paddles you must be one of those people that like to go "O look at me I'm a wanna be race car driver & I wish I could really drive!" or you simply not a real rev head or sports car lover & you can't drive.

Compared to the universally hated PDK Buttons where both sides did the same thing, paddles are MUCH preferred. They're not instead of the manual, they're to replace the gear shift method in an existing gearbox.

Broom.... O look at me I'm a wanna be a race car driver that'll smoke yaa... ;) Come on don't generalize.... What if the car you like had paddles, U gonna rip em out???
If you own a Porsche you will find that the -+ buttons are outdated and annoying? It was simply time for the change? good day!
