If you want to check out other fast roller coasters, check out this site: http://www.rcdb.com/rhr.htm (RollerCoasterDataBase). My favourite: Dodonpa in Japan; it goes from 0-170kph in 1.8 sec (that's 0-100kph in about 1sec, or 0-100mph in about 1.7sec). This is not F1 level, this is Dragster level.

Shame that I can't have a ride in anything that shakes, rolls, turns or drops fast since my childhood days. My stomach is simply unable to resist to those fast movements. Even long journeys in cars as a passenger can be turned to nightmares sometimes, and the interesting thing that it's OK when I drive myself.

get real Mr. Claus Frimand... first of all F1 formula cars don't ride on rails , secondly they navigate a FLAT racetrack never climbing to 52 meters then suddenly falling down to earth .thirdly , F1 machines are single-place automobiles quite unlike your pretentious amusement park contraption . please go and find someone you can jerk around with with your silly promotional hoopla .

wtf. Calm down. It's a roller coaster. It allows people to experience speed and high G loading that they wouldnt normally experience. Nobody in their right mind would consider a ride on this comparable to actually riding in an F1 car. It's just marketing, and it's harmless. Theme parks give people excitement, fantasy, fun, and escape. Drop the pretentiousness and let people enjoy themselves, 149mph and 1.7G is more than enough for most of the population to enjoy.

It's the same basic engine, but I would imagine to get it front-mountable and GT-like (in terms of engine curve), they made a few changes.
