a ferrari hypercar with a v8 is just wrong i hate ferraris but i always like the hypercars with v12's now a v8. i think people should not care about the the environment and emissions when it comes to supercars. stupid v4 turbo f1 cars now this.

"That is why we are developing hybrid technology that can be applied to our V8 and V10 cars," What current Ferrari has a V10? F458 [V8], California [V8], 612 [V12] and 599 [V12]. It has been a long hard day and my brain may not be working correctly! Perhaps the F70 will run a twin-turbo V10...

Nothing is wrong with a V8. Lets just look at the performance not number of cylinders. Porsche has 6 cylinders and road and track tests 911 turbo to 2.9 seconds to 100km/h. This car will be amazing

I think a V-10 would've been great. This will only be beneficial as they will be able to make the car EVEN LIGHTER! Despite the old adage, we're getting to a point with modern technology that is proving there does seem to be a replacement for displacement...

there is nothing wrong with the TT V8 setup! i think it would be better, you can achieve more with 2 turbos then a an atmo V12! think about the torque, think about the F40, the 288GTO! the problem is that V12 has been around for ages and its just the magical number that comes up when u think hypercars but its the past so better you start remembering them in fondness. They will be able to drop quite a few kg's with this engine setup aswel!

Ferrari said they will never make turbo engines... they lied. Ferrari said they will never make hybrids... they lied. Ferrari said they will never make another 4 door car...

FXX-inspired design on the road, but with a V8? Oh dear! Seems to me Ferrari missed a great chance to reveal a V12-powered Enzo replacement in the year 2012. What a great soundbite that would have been especially for a flagship machine! A V10 would have been appropriate as they are synonymous with F1 racing for decades. And also, since Ferarri never made a roadcar with one before. Tut! x3

Those mirrors are pretty wild. I think a 2.4liter twin turbo v8 would be good for the Enzo. IMO the enzo needs to be as close to an F1 car as possible while still remaining a street car. Including A/C, carpet, lightweight interior, etc...

The F40 had a special aura about it that no modern Ferrari has...and it was a 8cyl. TT. The exhaust spewing out flames during gear changes was just awesome...
