Torque is absolutely amazing. I hope the new Chinese owner won't spoil Volvo...

Aren't those similiar with Pug engine? I mean RCZ, 407 and both 3008 & 5008 have 2l diesel engine with similiar HP output. But volvo engine has much better torque, 400NM for 2l diesel single turbo is simply magnificent, others still need twin turbo to achieve 400NM torque.

The PSA engines are 4-cylinder, while the Volvo engines are 5-cylinder. So they're not the same. The output is good, but not extraordinarily good. Fiat/GM's 1.9 180hp diesel achieves 400Nm too.
