Ferrari 599 GTO official videos at Mugello circuit

Ferrari has released official videos of the Ferrari 599 GTO both in the paddock and on the track at the Mugello Circuit north of Florence, Italy.  The car was driven by Ferrari's top test driver Dario Benuzzi.

The car is capable of a 3.35-second 0-100 km/h sprint time on its way to a 335 km/h (208 mph) top speed.  Those figures are thanks to the car's 6.0-liter V12 that kicks out 661 hp (493 kW / 670 PS) and up to 457 lb-ft (619 Nm) of torque.  Weighing in at under 1,500 kg is also helpful.

For Benuzzi, the 599 GTO is another notch in his belt.  The 58-year old started with the automaker in 1971 as a mechanic, and has test driven every F1 and production car built since 1976.

The Ferrari 599 GTO will be limited to 599 units with a starting price of €319,495.

maybe because Asotn Martin One-77/ AM DBS is more beautiful, or Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Series has enough torque, or Mercedes-McLaren SLR 722 Edition is faster...or Corvette ZR1 is cheaper, or BMW M6 is better daily car....or maybe something else?

it's because this car is too weird, they turned a heavy GT into a track car. it's just a toy for the rich , just like the SLR GT. the real exciting Ferrari will be the 458 Scuderia (or whatever name it will have).
