Spies in Germany caught a new set of images showcasing the 2011 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster facelift.  The car, seen testing on the Nurburgring, is sporting many of the racing elements currently on the V12 Vantage.

Amongst these are the deeply grooved sidesills, the larger front and rear spoilers, and a carbon fiber rear diffuser.  However, with the same hood as the V8, we are left to wonder just what engine the car is using.

Perhaps, the race-inspired elements from the V12 will be available across the Vantage range now.  It does appear as though the front bumper may drop closer to the ground, with a redesign to the splitter as well.

The facelifted 2011 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster is expected to go on sale this year.

Looks good, no doubt about it, so the only difference between a V8 and a V12 vantage cosmetically is the bonnet? If I had a v12, i wouldn't be pleased. Car makers have to learn to protect their customers.
