Wow volvo, This looks amazing. never though I'd see the day that Volvo will be competing as a race car. great job. Will be watching the Belgium touring car series and watch it progress.

Just look at the past, you'd see they even raced the 850 Estate. I appreciate their racing effort with the new S60, but this looks like if they thought they weren't good enough for the DTM series. Not that I consider DTM as the best form of racing, but honestly who knew/cared about the BTCS before of this car? I'd have preferred a WTCC car.

I'll be honest, I'm from Belgium and didn't even know they had a Touring car series and I only have followed the DTM for the past 2 years and don't care much for touring car racing. But don't mock the BTC series The WTTC aint that great to begin with either.

Hmm, this mid-engined 2-door silhoette racer isn't exactly showroom-spec is it? That was the appeal of Touring Cars when I used to watch it, they were just kitted up and stripped out versions of the same FF-layout saloons and hatchbacks (and, er, estate) that you could buy. WHen my uncle got a quite ordinary Renault Laguna in about 1998, he joked "Just needs a lick of paint and it'll be ready for Touring Cars!" Volvo S60 drivers in Belgium cannot say this. "never though I'd see the day that Volvo will be competing as a race car." - You should've seen the BTCC from 1994-99.

The Volvo 850 Estate BTCC car was one of the wackiest...and coolest...race cars ever! It was awesome seeing the boxy school run car racing around the track!
