German tuners VÄTH have introduced a new kit for the Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG.  The package includes a beefy power upgrade from the redesigned engine, as well as visual mods inside and outside the machine.

By changing out the intake manifold, adding new air outlets and a fuel cooler, the tuning team was able to get the engine just where they want it.  They retuned the engine to provide 680 PS (507 kW / 671 bhp), 840 Nm (619 ft-lb) of torque, and a top speed of 265 km/h (165 mph).

They proceded to drop the G-class by 35mm, adding sports shocks, and lightweight 10x22-inch wheels over 390mm brake discs.  Along with a new exhaust, the exterior now includes larger air intakes, Xenon and LED lighting.  Inside, new instrumentation can be seen behind the Alcantara steering wheel.  Leather was used throughout the cabin, with a new infotainment unit keeping the details organized.

Pricing has not yet been revealed for the VÄTH Mercedes-Benz G55 AMG.

VAETH G55 AMG - a Superlative V58k with 680 hp

More power and fun of ride has VAETH for the rare G55 AMG model. A G-class model with 680 hp and 840 Nm! Is it possible? VAETH AUTOMOBILTECHNIK has made G55, a model of an absolute force. The G-class model charms with its edged lines and its sports and athletic appearance. Also in this case, the VAETH AUTOMOBILTECHNIK creators have implemented a lot of new ideas.

Besides the fine tuning, the engine reconstruction comprehends an intake manifold, a complete outlet system, coolers, as well as the patented VAETH fuel cooler, all that let the hp monster reach the 265 km/h mark!

Attention is drawn especially to the modifications of the front section. The bonnet and the front spoiler with extra big air intakes, LED daylight lamps and Xenon units in the fog-lights contribute to a sportive, eye-catching design of a strong V58k G-class model. The rear looks bulky and forms together with the sports exhaust system visible on both sides a perfect symbiosis. Sports appearance created by the VAETH is powered additionally by the complete "Race Edition" foliation.

Fully lowered by 35 mm, the G-class model together with its sports shock absorbers grant you a real feeling. The extravagant VAETH light metal rims in 10x22'' with 295/35R22 Yokohama ADV ST air tires underline the sportive power packet once more.

The interior is decorated by carbon applications, there is a speedometer reaching up to 330 km/h, an Alcantara covered sports steering wheel and everything is covered by the leather. The multimedia system tops the ensemble.

In order to stop the hp monster at one time or another, VAETH has equipped it by a sports braking system with 390 mm sports brake disks.
