Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid to Debut in New York

Compare to it's rivals, the Cayenne is the ugliest between them.

I'm so sick of people complaining about the Cayenne's design. I would like to see them do better. Porsche's designers have done a fantastic job of integrating Porsche design philosophy with SUV form. While the 1st gen Cayenne was not the most elegant car on the road, the 2nd gen car is stunning! It isuch better than not only its rivals but also its corporate cousins the Q7 and Touareg.

i much rather take public transit than drive a cayenne. but thanks to those who buy this sort of thing, we will see the 918 produced.

I really liked the last generation cayenne, especially after the facelift. This one just looks like a Hyundai from the rear end. I think the rest of it is gorgeous but the Panamera ass just kills it.

It's strange... One pic makes me think it's a beautiful SUV and the next one makes me hate the car... What I think about this car changes every time I move to another angle of looking at it...

u can never satisfy all of the customers with a new design. i think overall Porsche as done a fantastic job on the 2nd generation, simple as that. it looks younger, fresher, more dynamic, more Porsche!

just one thing just NO with the gold one

I'm one of Porsche Cayenne's staunch critics, but even I have to admit this rendering is by far easier on the eye! The tail and head lights, the overall front bumper design treatment and the chunky, low ride side profile gives it a more dynamic and youthful appearance than original. Hybrid or not, there should be no question about performance and handling!

This is much better than the two previous models. I will reserve my final judgment until I see it "live" in person. In terms of technology however this is the best SUV out there.

I hated the first Cayenne, but after the "facelift" a few years ago, it was for sure an improvement. Now, the "new" Cayenne looks like a Hyundai or Subaru or something that costs about $25,000. The rear end design and lamps looks cheap, boring and very un-aggressive. While the interior is not bad...why does Porsche still insist on 47,000 buttons? It looks busy, distracting and dated. I do not expect Porsche to adapt iDrive (although my 2010 BMW iDrive system is awesome), Porsche could do a system like Audi, MBZ or even Lexus. I personally think the last (yet still kinda ugly) Cayenne is better looking, more aggressive and a better SUV. This looks like a "girl's car".

Very futuristic and with a futuristic hybrid drivetrain. I want one.
