Alleged Ferrari 599 GTO Photos Look Sketchy [Video]

Real? Fake? You be the judge

Is this the highly anticipated Ferrari 599 GTO? The folks at Fast Lane Daily say it is, but we're a tad skeptical.

The image looks like it was printed out, crumpled up, cut out (very poorly), and pasted on a grey background - something that doesn't scream authentic. Regardless, the picture seems to suggest the GTO will feature a two-tone paint scheme, a modified rear bumper, hood vents, and chrome wheels.

Oddly enough, an ad for a 599 GTO has also appeared on James List. Priced at €310,587 ($425,659 USD), the ad features a blurry image of a rear bumper (with a GTO license plate) and says "1 of 599 brand new car! - Specifications: 670 hp at 8250 rpm, below 1,500 kg (3,307 lbs), and Vmax 335 km/h (208 mph) - All other information on request by mail! - Copy images can be shown on request!"

As we have previously reported, the 599 GTO will be a road-going version of the 599XX concept. It will likely feature a 6.0-liter V12 engine with potentially up to 515 kW (700 PS / 690 bhp).

I going to say fake. I can not see Ferrari paiting the GTO in white of all colours and then addi9ng a blue racing strip down the center. It's just not Ferrari's style.
