Ironically that's exactly whom Ferrari are turning into.

its called diversification. The park is also located right next to the YAS island F1 track that hosts the finale for the F1 GP and has a 7 year contract to do so. Apart from that the track is praised as one of the best around. Most of you all are just haters and cant stand to see Arab anything... i dont blame you I blame your media for twisting your perceptions.

Here we go again with the "evil and infidel media"...., sorry but we ain't buying this bs. Ferrari(like other many legendary supercars) should be respected like a cult car, it is on object of desire, of admiration, a mark on the scale of human evolution, not a theme for a tacky roller coaster. Oh, well Ferrari is reducing it's own brand value by allowing this thing to exist.

i'm dizzy already looking at this.

Probably also didn't know that the owner of the Burj Dubai was almost in liquidation. Even Abu Dhabi hasn't endless money.

 TALSUWAIDI TALSUWAIDI
Burj Dubai, know called burj Khalifa is owned by EMAAR PJSC so owned by every person who has bought one share. you can become part owner for just over a dollar btw. And AD's money is not directly related to EMAAR other than any equity they own in EMAAR. Oh yeah and FYI: Mubadala, a AD owned PJSC owns 5% of Ferrari...

I am embarrassed to see some of the mentalities on this site... Many have hate for Arabs or are simply jealous, cuz they work like dogs and end up having to give half of their pay cheques to their governments... If you don't like it, simply move, or better, go get a job in the UAE if you think you deserve a piece of the pie!!! Haters know themselves.... Peace to the Middle East.... lol

Well i am an american... I dont think ur point is practical... But i do believe people talk shit abt arab ppl and the expensive tuned cars built for arabs like x5 M and X6 M.... I dont think its wrong to buy those cars if u have money...but u r talking trash...

People talk shit because they're jealous. Wealth is always relative; it's stupid to point fingers and cry foul. However this 'theme park' would be much more convincing if it were in Maranello.

Jealous, yeah right, I don't want a shame of the car world like this, anywhere near where I live. If I see stupid, ugly, tacky or lame things I say it, no matter if they are made by Arabs, Muslims, Americans, Japanese, Vikings or Martians. I don't care if you like it or not.

Much respect to all nations from the Middle East, we simply expect the same... "Expensive tuned cars built for Arabs" loool.... German car, built in the US, for Arabs!! What a market niche? Oooh by the way, I hope all of you can afford these cars one day.... Not run outa money like some wish!!! Duh?.. Be a Hippie, play nice?

Why would anyone sit back and wait till the Middle East runs out of money? Is there money putting anyone back? The ferrari coach wasn't designed by the emirate, but by ferrari themselves. If your going to hate, the least you can do is direct it towards the people responsible.

Abu Dhabi is investing money for turism and these attractions will help bring money in . Also it is becoming a multi culture pot . I wish Abu Dhabi stays safe and clean of crimes .

lol jealousy? Has nothing to do with that. They could give me a jackpot and I still wouldn't live there. Tourism investments? They don't have the T of Tourism. Go over there and go for a tour. One of the most over-rated, artificial, aesthetically illusory places of the world. And yes i've been there twice. Money doesn't open all doors nor buy taste and brains.

Just visit your local nearby Ferrari dealership and take the 458 Italia for a spin, I'll guarantee you will have more fun than hearing preople screaming rather than the V8 behind you.

Dude, just talk about cars cuz somewhere u just lost focus?. Much love?

all of you forget the most important fact: Ferrari is an European brand that will have nothing but to benefit - both financially and as it concerns the visibility, the brand image in the world, after all. It's not a Toyota theme park or a... Geely one. It's a Ferrari.

Its a theme park, how can that offend any of you? Cheapening the brand? What about the hundreds of ferrari shops selling everything with a ferrari logo on from keyrings to calculators. This is just a bit of fun and if i was in abu dhabi i'd pay it a visit (once its opened of course)

Why would you go to Abu Dhabi? It's an over glorified Miami, and if you think Beverly Hills has too many snobs you're in for a nasty surprise. Personally i would much rather go to Miami, 80% as nice architecturally, weather just as nice, much nicer natural beaches. More beautiful women, you can actually hold a girl's hand down the street or kiss her. You can have a beer on the beach, hell you can even have sex on the beach without going to jail for 3 years. The whole concept of the UAE tourist industry is ridiculous, most modern establishments with 1500 year old customs that are anti enjoyment. Most people don't care about if their hotel is #1 in the world if if they have less fun than in the middle of the African desert.

The first tourists will be the US Military LOL, followed by Israeli repo-men. The world turns, everything needs a cycle to survive and the same applies to money. That's why empires have come and gone, and in modern times World Wars took place, sadly the next one will be a joke because for the amount of $ that there is in the middle east they are unbelievably weak. Like taking candy from a baby. And tourism? You have to be kidding, all it is is a penis competition, one guy builds a building, the next guy has to build one 1 floor taller, it's not an economy or area built by demand but by egos. That's why the world bank wouldn't lend them what they asked for, because they have no way of paying it back when most of their billion dollar hotels are 80% empty 365 days a year. With current economic conditions who would want to go to this Ferrari world or anywhere in the UAE? Hell i can buy a F355 for the price of a 2 week trip to this Ferrari world....Bad business, just a penis competition, some guy wanted to say he has the most expensive ferrari..Didn't really think it through. All this talk of jealousy is BS, it's not like they Arabic people are known for their conservativeness. Throughout history they have been about flaunting what they have and showing off. Nobody hates them for being rich, the US has WAY more money than the UAE. People hate them for how they act. Like i've met lebanese people that go out of their way to say that Lebanon is so rich and they have the most beautiful women in the world. Yet poor ugly Israel destroyed their country in 1 week. And when Canadians chartered rescue boats from Cyprus to get Canadian citizens out, they complained about the boats not having A/C for the 4hr trip....I would of beat the shit out of whoever complained and put him on the boat and taken him back to Lebanon, maybe the Israelis have A/C bombs. Just a bunch of pompous asses, that talk too much. Only respected by themselves, which is a shame because they are a smart people, they have all this $ yet they are holding themselves back by spending their time flaunting and satisfying their egos and feuds.

why did ferrari do this to the brand? because this way they are marketing ferrari for the new generations and building reputation in kids minds that this is the only sport car they should dream about . now adays you have too many sport cars that looks really nice and very affordable , but ferrari wants to show their history . this theme park were built because abu dhabi owns 5% of ferrari shares and Aldar company is helping to market turism in Abu Dhabi . Middle east and Asia laks of fun and entertainment and population is growing in Abu Dhabi and jobs pays well and tax free . Hotels are always full and so the prices of accomodation are getting very high . so the decission was made by ferrari and who thinks it's a bad idea will miss this expeiriance .

Hey you! ALL OF YOU! Stop getting out of track. This is getting to where it isn't supposed to. I live in Abu Dhabi, and I'm not an Arab, but hate all this negativity. I visited the the yet-under-construction theme park 5 days ago, and all I have to say is we are excited here the park will soon open. It is going to be a major attraction and a new pleasure for us. Fortunately, lots of people here can afford it both Arabs and expats, and they're making the money here from Arab resources,so I wish all of them GOOD LUCK!
