Do the FIA seriously expect to get big name car companies like Lamborghini, Maserati Alfa Romeo, Niisan, Ford Chevrolet, etc into formula 1. New teams big or small are good for F1 and did they seriously expect them to be the fastest teams stright away as then they'd moan their to fast. Seadon has begun yet the internal bitching has begun.

they will just need mandatory extra large rear cameras for backmarkers - or a 'proximity alerrrt'. maybe a policy of 'if you're lapped by more than 10 cars you're out' will force them to be not crap.
