"the car allegedly has a 0-60 km/h sprint time of less than ten seconds."
60 km/h = 37.284 mph
Is it really a "sprint" or could it be more closely associated with an agonizingly slow accumulation of velocity?

I think they're lost in translation... it's (hopefuly) 0 - 60 mph... or it's slower than my grandma on a bike.

One more electrical production ready marvelous concept they promise us for 2012.... they seriously start to go on my nerves... every year they claim and anounce the cars will be ready within 2 years ... and nothing ever comes....
anyway nobody in Europe wants a car that can not even reach 100km/h...

I'm a avid supporter of this car, I really am, and I think it's the first real revolution in this industry in a while.
BUT, this article disappoints me.
- 20cm longer = heavier, BIGGER, and more expensive.
- An electric version, though "green" 'n all, is not what this car should be built as. It defeats it's purpose, raising the price.
I think a diesel would've been more appropriate, especially for the European market.
And "Though no details were revealed about the motor, the car allegedly..., Battery capacity was also not disclosed..."???
To me, that means that they've done practically no development on the motor, and won't be at market by 2012.
