9ff Announces Tuning Packages for Porsche 911 Turbo Facelift
9ff DR530 tuning package for 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo facelift 01.03.2010

Another tuning package for the Porsche 911 Turbo facelift was revealed today.  This time, the kit comes from German tuners 9ff, who offer an aerodynamic setup with three different performance levels.

Visual modifications to the car come from the company's GTurbo design.  It includes subtle LED lighting built into the new front apron, as well as a rear apron and rear wing.  This alone goes for €8,900, not including installation, paint work, or tax.  Add another €4,980 for the new GTurbo wheels, measuring in at 8.5x19" and 11x19".  Another €1,000 gets you the wheels with a central locking system.

Performance-wise, the car gets modifications that raise engine output in three different phases.  The package tops out with a 640 PS (471 kW / 631 hp), 830 Nm (612 lb-ft) package that includes new ECU, six-speed transmission, clutch, air filter, intercooler, catalytic converter, exhaust, and tailpipes.  Pricing for this starts at €4,980, with the top level phase selling for €17,980, including labor and tax.

The benefit of going full steam is a 0-300 km/h (186 mph) time of 26 seconds. The attached photos were provided by 9ff.  Hopefully they'll send us better photos soon.

See press release below for more details.

I quite love Porsches. good, relaiable and fun cars - even though inexplicably expensive for what they are. then again, in terms of design, the 911 Turbo lost mush of it's aura. remember the 70's and 80's 911 Turbo? with rear wheels, rear spoiler and rear arches as big as China? that was cool. and sexy. and that made the 911 have a stance. now, the present day 911 Turbo just seems.. dull compared to that. I know that without all the electronic gizmos such as abs, 4wd, traction control, etc, about half of 911 Turbo owners would have died in a ditch or tree or ravine, or whatever (you get the point), but they could really make that car look more "vulgar". 'just looks old and boring. even an Evo looks better - and that's a a saloon!

@ loki, the turbo from the '70s is still around , still RWD , still with a big spoiler, still wide rear, still hardcore. it's called the 911 GT2.
