2012 Chevy Aveo Sedan Photos Released Early
According to General Motors, these official images of the next-generation 2012 Chevrolet Aveo sedan were released unintentionally. They are not real-life stills but retouched illustrations originally from Chevy's studios.
It looks quite attractive and signals Chevy's intentions to create cars that people want to look at and ultimately buy. In fact the exterior resembles the racy-looking Aveo RS Concept which was unveiled in Detroit, while the two-tone interior undoubtedly takes after big brother Cruze. This bodes well.
The Aveo is a line of vehicles that sit lower than the Cruze but higher than the Spark on the Chevrolet pecking order. So expect the sedan to come with the same engines as its existing hatch sibling when it arrives in 2011.

Please don't associate all Americans with GM, if that were the case we would all be bankrupt, oh wait...

Great, Toyota found a buyer for the pressings from the old IS200. Seriously, this car looks 8 years behind everyone else.

omg... it looks so ugly...
Does GM will not build good looking and well engineered cars or can?t they?

Who is the designer of GM, he must be in a very sad period if its life ... This car looks like a fish with its eyes poped out .. and i'm not joking. They struggle to do some serious car over there, but it's going to be only a cheap copy paste of the Cruze in/outside, but smaller. Maybe in US will do the trick .. with some discounts and stuff.

Exactly my thoughts. Idoubt this will be able to compete with the reliability of a Honda fit...or maybe it will. We'll have to see.

hey guys, don't you know Govt. Motor get back on their feet already, so now they're back to their "usual" business practice... with the U.S. Govt & media to help kicking Toyota's butt, the "new" G.M. has nothing to fear, they think people will buy their cars no matter how bad they are...remember, their slogan "may the best car wins", wow! when i look back now, the whole Toyota-circus was well planned!!!

Considering the price range that this car is geered towards, I think this car will do well... unless you naysayers think that the Honda Fit (City) or Toyata Yaris are better looking. If so, then you need to have your eyes checked.

It looks EXACTLY like an Australian-domestic-market Mitsubishi Lancer sedan.

looks good, theres very little resemblence to the old aveo. Better looking than alot of othe manufactures newest designs. They really are trying hard, just need to slap in some decent engine's.

Hey u ... it looks good compared to what, to a H3 ? Anyway .. US design has never been a pinpoint of the industry, so the American people will still need to buy EU/Jap cars to be really cool over there .. for there rest there are GMC's and GM's, even Ford has become too cool to be american :).
PS - Nota bene : There was a cool designer in US, the one that made the Mustang Fastback 67' ... that's some cool classic over there, but he's dead now :(.
