Great news, but I'm more looking forward to a new scaglietti or enzo.

Limited Edition Ferrari. Guess the GTO is more of a branding exercise for the prancing horse and are strictly sold to collectors or appear on the front cover of a magazine than see it on the road or participate in any races. The old the 250 (and 330) and 288 were designed for racing which required homologation. This is just a 599 with a bit of work put in to extract more money from the lucky Clienti (massive suckers in English). They may as well put a vinyl roof on it and call it Elbullshito, or 'limited edition' stickers in orange - anything but use the most evocative and meaningful name Ferrari has in it's portfolio. But the Ferrari of today knows no limits in exploiting it's rich history to raise a few extra Euros.

totally agree. making the "gto" name the equivalent of a bs "performance" package really dishonors the cars that originally bore the gto name. the 250 is one of my five most favorite cars of all-time. this is not the way to honor a legend.
