PPI Razor GTR :)

The PPI Razor GTR is great example of my point. It may look insane, but it's not necessarily pretty. The Aston Martin DBS, for example, looks so good that anything anyone does to it will make it worse, unless it is Aston Martin doing the changing. The DBS looks great but it's subtle and elegant, compared to the Bentley GT or Ferrari 599. Whether you think those other two look better or worse than the DBS is not the point. What's important is that those two can be made to look better. The R8 is like the DBS in that respect. While the Lamborghini LP560 might look better than the R8 (I think it does), it is possible to make the LP560 look even better (although no one has succeeded yet). The R8, on the other hand is as pretty as it'll ever be, for better or worse.
