Can Mercedes can this thing already. It's an embarrassment to every Mercedes that has existed. This is like trying to dress up a pig. A pig it will always be.

I wish Mercedes would just let this die (no one would really miss it) and focus on the M, G, GL, SL, SLK, C, E, S, and their counterparts (coupes, convertibles, wagon versions)

To its credit the Rodius is more capacious and a lot cheaper. Even in Mercedes-hungry Arab Gulf the R is not selling well and is simply too expensive. Even the rich look elsewhere for a house errands vehicle.

The last time I heard anyone make a compliment about this car was in a Merc showroom, and the guy said, "Beautiful car, love that front grille!" Guess it pretty much describes the type of individual who would want this thing.

Fortunately or unforunately I have to agree with every post here, about the R Class. I does remind me of an elongated turd.As a owner of a few Benzes, this car is an embarrassment to the brand. I would rather drive a dodge caravan if I had too. Just because you can afford a car like this doesn't mean you should buy it.
