That's almost a 100% copy of the BWM vision efficient dynamics concept!

looks a bit too much like the BMW vision and it has useless back seats, but it's a nice design overall. too bad the really good looking concepts never see production.

I'm glad it's not just me that see that this is a direct copy of the BMW concept. Though it does look nice but come on lets try to be orignal here, please.

Do you really think that bertone had time to build this AFTER the unveiling of the BMW ED concept? This prototype had been already halfway through when the ED concept was unveiled. Could you also point out with WHICH of the current BMW's on the market does the ED concept resemble, or does it's nose look like the 159? Atleast this concept from Bertone looks like the Alfas on the market.

the BMW vision is an entirely new car, this is a Alfa 8C with a different body.

I totally agree with carcrazy1234 and Andrei.P. And when did the BMW vision concept become so innovative? It's like ten concepts before that one that looks similar

ambitious reinterpretation of the legendary Alfa Montreal design ikon we have here... classy front end with covered head lights introduced by Alfa 10 years earlier to BMW

People havn't seen Mazda Kiyora concept...which had those windows even before BMW ED, yes carcrazy is right, many things are actually original Alfa design elements, but more modern interpretation..... Andrei is right too....there is no way Bertone could build something like that which also includes the interiors in record time....

I much prefer this over the Efficientdynamics. And I agree with Billionaire. There were concept cars in the past, and many from Bertone that feature such a design. In more recent times, we have the Saab Aero X and the "GTbyCitroen". Bertone & Alfa are indeed NOT guilty of copying BMW. See the Bertone (Lancia) Stratos, Bertone (Lamborghini) Marzal & Bertone Birusa for example. Not to mention the wild Mantide. If anything, many owe a credit to Bertone!

Even Hyundai w/ the 2007 Qarmaq concept had this going on. (Based on Bertone)

What's going on with the back? this car does looks like the BMW thing, but then, Bertone design it and their design language is out for a while now

The front looks like a Cylon from Battlestar Galatica and the back reminds me of a robot from the Transformer movies! I guess the people at Bertone are really in to scifi... Anyway, it looks cool, but when do designers start realizing that a concept car without functionality is nothing but a car shaped sculpture and not an actual car! A car without windows you can open will never be successful (and quite possibly will never even be taken in to production). And if the design is altered to fit opening windows, the whole concept will be messed up. So unless Bertone has found a way to magically open the windows in this car, it's just a sculpture and not a concept car. And by the way, Bertone would have had enough time to rip off BMW if they wanted, concept cars, especially these sculpture types, are made really fast nowadays!

If you want to see blatant style copying then you need to look at Seat and vw, ie hidden rear door handles Alfa 156/ 147 now seen on Seat leon,Alfa 147 rear light and bumper as copied by Seat. New Seat Leon has copied Alfa,s 156 mk1 slots around front grille, which on the Seat is looking very Alfa like. New Golf kicked up corners on headlamps look at 156 mk1 see what i mean.I guess A certain Designer named Walter de silva moving over to vw might have something to do with it. You want exciting perfect proportions and car with a soul, then you look to Italy.I have had the german cars in the past and they were ok, but once you,ve had an Italian car you,ll be hooked for life.If serviced properly they are as reliable as any german/ jap car.

First prize for obvious copying of styling must surely go to Seat. It look more like an Alfa 147 Than ever before. Look at consealed rear door handles, straight from alfa 156/147. New leon rear lights and bumper pure alfa. Now Vw/ Seat have added monza slots around Leon front grille, which is changing shape every year now with chrome around it!!!!!!! monza slots on alfa 156 and historic P2 racers from 1930,s. New golf headlight corner kick up? enough said.
