If I put a Audi logo on the grill, it will like a new A8, but it looks little from the new Jaguar XJ.

I wouldn't go that far, but I do believe it looks like what the bastard child of an Audi and a Jaguar would look like.

dont like it, looks like the current peugeot design language, not a fan, i expected better. the new citroens are amazing they look sporty and they are ment to be the comfort side of psa, this peugeot looks big fat and clumsy like the current pugs

This front design doesn't look like any of Peugeot cars, but the rear looks identical.

this may sound strange but i think the front looks like a saloon version of the 5008

the c pillar almost looks like BMW's Hoch.Kick. Not the Same but almost,Nice lines thruout the whole car by the way, better front defineatly than current 407.

Yes it looks decent. Some new models of French brands are really good looking and their quality is improved too.

It's good looking. I like it. But the delight is in the detail, such as the LED lights. It's important that these make production to make the car unique.

Looks like a Volvo, interesting wheels, can't touch Audi or Jaguar though.

Nice, definitely a lot better front than the current Peugeot huge-ass-grin on all of their models. And the fuel economy is great also. Kinda makes you wonder if there is any reason for the Prius and alike to exist.

Much better looking than most Peugeots, which are all out of proportion

Nice, it's not overly distinctive, but than, this market doesn't allow for too many distinctive designs. Overall, it is well balanced, much better proportioned than the current model, less contrived. Comparisons to Citroen C5, Audi and BMW seem rather farfetched, Insignia, Passat and the likes more accurate. As said, in this market, you can only go so far without alienating your customers, a problem Peugeot already experienced with the outgoing model, which was too much for most traditional Pug drivers, who are relatively conservative anyway. The french car drivers that want something less conventional traditionally go to sister Citroen or step cousin Renault...

I think it is very nice car! But it will break down all the time and it will loss values in the same way as accelerating - fast.Old model was rubbish

I really have to give Peugeot respect here, they have been trying new things out while the likes of Audi and BMW do the same old tired rehashes.
Having owned 4 BMW's from new and being prety much a BMW man I'm glad to see some more competitors coming into the space, hopefully this engine can match the brilliant BMW diesels.

the bonnet, the problem is the bonnet. Every time i look the front (bonnet& headlights), the 5008 comes to my head, that is not the best car to evoke...

Peugeot, you are welcome. Some of your previous cardesigns aren't that finished looking. This one is really great. I hope for a streetversion exactly like that and a very nice wagon. The drivetrain is up to date

@SkadV8
The less you know about something, the more you talk !!
French cars are almost as reliable as german ones, even if their image is not at same level (EGR from TDI motors, electronic issues on Mercedes, Toyota's...)
Looks like hard time is quite comon in this industry.
In my opinion, this 508 will be the first step to a new design, and next models will be very attractive.

I dont understand where do you live in a world of imagination. It is a fact that almost all french car are bad made and it will broke down eventualy and that it will lose its value, this is not some bulls..t, everyone who know somthing about car knows that is truth.
