Green GT Twenty-4 All-Electric Le Mans Racer Set for Geneva Premiere
A green future for racing?
GreenGT will unveil the electric Twenty-4 Le Mans racer at the Geneva Motor Show.
While details are limited, the Twenty-4 could be based on GreenGT's recent design study. Boasting an FIA-spec carbon chassis and a fiberglass body, the study featured two electric motors which drew power from flexcell photovoltaic solar panels and two 30kWh lithium-ion batteries. Packing 400 hp (298 kW) and a mind-blowing 2000 Nm (1475 ft-lb) of torque, the 860 kg (1895 lbs) concept could run from 0-100 km/h in less than four seconds and hit a top speed of 275 km/h (171 mph).
Look for more information to be released next month.

Sounds good I hope they make it to Le Mans and are able to finish, doesn't matter what place. From what you read in articles on EVs it sounds like their on the roads already but there not. This car if it competes will be very important for all manufacturers to learn from, even if it fails a car like this may help speed up electric car development world wide.

technically sound is a waste of energy. I love the sound of a BMW I6 or almost any V12 but max torque's from the moment you stomp on the accelerator peddle sounds rather good to me too.
