Irish tuners Onyx Concept have released a package of upgrades for the Bentley Continental GT.  The Onyx Bentley Continental Platinum GTO kit could boost power to around 640 bhp (477 kW / 649 PS) from the standard 553 bhp (412 kW / 560 PS).

Changes have been made to the car's front bumper, which now includes carbon fiber modifications.  They also installed LED daytime runners, as well as a front carbon fiber splitter.  The new arches widen the cars stance, and match the new sidesills.

In back, a new rear bumper with carbon diffuser has been installed.  The carbon decklid spoiler matches the diffuser, but would look nicer if it matched the car's body colour.

Suspension on the car has been lowered with new 22-inch matte black wheels also included.  This looks to offer little-to-no clearance should the car hit a hard bump.

According to the company, the Onyx Bentley Continental Platinum GTO package should be available in March.

Onyx are back and this time have moved away from the SUV market to concentrate on one of britains top luxury vehicles the Bentley continetal GT. The conversion consists of a revised front bumper with carbon fibre inserts, DRL's and a carbon fibre lower splitter. The sides have been widened with some clean cut arches and sideskirts. Lastly but certainly not least is the rear with a revised rear bumper and smashing looking rear carbon fibre difusser. The boot lid has also been complimented with a carbon fibre touch in the form of a deck spoiler. Adding to the exterior conversion ONYX also have the additional extras that they offer to all there vehicles, this being bespoke bufallo hide leather interior and carbon fibre interior panelling. As always the Irish tuners have there own suspension lowering system, the engine power upgrade which they havent given an exact figure yet but have said that for the normal GT being 550BHP this will be over the 640BHP mark. Lastly they have given the car a set of there own 22" TPM matt black wheels which gives the vehicle a great stance. Onyx have said that they have another 2 wheel designs that they will be launching shortly and this bentley conversion will be on the market from may this year. Definitely the number one kit in production for this car. It's the first one that is actually able to encompass the element of sports in the GT, which in my opinion is not easy to do because of the nameplate that 'Bentley' has achieved. Especially from the back perspective, I think that this car earns the image of some sort of 'hypercar'. Awesome.

"It's the first one that is actually able to encompass the element of sports in the GT, which in my opinion is not easy to do because of the nameplate that 'Bentley' has achieved." Could you explain that please? The back looks OK but I am unsure why Onyx think anyone would want to shout that louder than Bentley.

I meant that Bentley isn't exactly known for being a "sports car" (not that they aren't fast), but from my perspective, this kit makes it seem no less "sporty" than a Ferrari.

Best kit for the GT so far, no the best example of application though. As a bentley continental owner I am interested in such a kit but would NEVER tint the headlights or blackout those wheels or even leave all that CF in the spoiler exposed... I would color most of it to tone it down a bit... other than that it is perfection.

Spoilt a luxury car. But the Premier League should love it.

Take classy cars and make them look like kit cars. Nice job.

I agree with Imasa! But this is only photoshop though.. Nice of them to not make the actual kit and install it on a bentley!

Can't help to comment further... I looked at it again. It does look good... if you're 16 and want to impress girls at the ice-cream parlour. However, if you're a professional or a serious business man, you would not be caught dead in that car.

If you've got $$ for a Bentley you don't care what people think. Looks f*n sweet IMO! Not too overdone like too many of these kits, although I'd have the stock headlamps.
