I'm looking forward to seeing the smaller displacement engine they will fit into the M3. The only thing I will miss is the great exhaust note. Due to the engine change, I am hoping I can snatch up a V8 version for a little less coin.

They are swapping the na V8 for a turbocharged I6, IIRC? Personally, I like the sound of a straight six a lot more than the V8 sound.

I believe BMW makes great engines be it 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or soon 3. I love the sweetness of M3's V8. But I miss the crisp sound of the naturally aspirated M3 CSL's straights six. M engines should be naturally aspirated, but I understand that the future is small engine but big on power.

friction kills the high rev NA engines. no way around that. it's possible that the F458's V8 will be the last great NA engine mankind has ever made.

Guess the AMGs found in the Paganis will be one of the few remaining V12s on sale in the market

What's the deal with al manufactures going for the LED Christmas lights nowadays?!? I personally think stylistically it's very unrefined to have al those loose bulbs visible. I think it looks tacky and cheap, even somewhat retro. There's no need for it to be like that with the use of some lenses...so WTF BMW, why do you want to look like a Christmas ornament Audi?

Are you serious? LEDs are much brighter, use less energy, light up much quicker and simply look better than conventional bulbs. Need me to explain the rationale? Think before you say something idiotic.
