Ferrari F10 Revealed - Fisichella to stay reserve driver [Video]

Ferrari christened its 2010 formula one car the 'F10' as it was revealed on Thursday during a lavish launch at the famous team's Maranello factory.

With a front end resembling last year's fast Red Bull car, it could not as scheduled be shaken down in the afternoon by Felipe Massa due to icy conditions at the local Fiorano test track.

Ferrari will try again to test the car for the first time on Friday, but otherwise it will now be sent to Valencia for the beginning of the official tests on Monday.

Fernando Alonso was also present for the launch, while Giancarlo Fisichella admitted that his hopes of returning to the grid next season have past.

"It's better to stay here as the third driver," the 37-year-old Roman was quoted as saying in a Reuters news report.

+1. F1 cars reached an absolute state of beauty and perfection before the changes introduced for the 2009 season. i'm still not used to those ultra wide and low, plank-like front wings and tall and narrow rear wings. it still looks disproportionate to me.

...has a bigger gas tank due to the '10 season refueling ban; other than that: pretty good-looking car in a very strong 'Ferrari Red' color (not 'magenta' like in the past)... in summary, a good F1 car to Schumacher beat this year on his Mercedes-Benz ;-D Obrigado

True but that's been the case since 2007. They also haven't been the same without Brawn and Todt.

they did the championship win streak on this livery, red&white. all red version was not this tempting. and beside all that, it's classic.
