i dunno, i'd say the hood ornament they put on their saloon cars is a design signature. who else uses hood ornaments nowadays?

He's got a point. Everything that's coming out of Merc/Audi has LEDs plastered all over them, but then Audi did come out with them first. It's just funny how BMW seems reluctant to use LED DRLs (besides the angel eyes or whatever they're called) when every other car company seems to throw them on these days. Mercedes seems to have their design signature in the car as a whole. The sweeping character line, pointed grille, and very importantly a coherence that BMW and the likes seem to lack. I love Mercedes' designs. Simple, bold and elegant, except I just think the front of the W221 S class is just horrid...and that R class...

@sub39h : Jaguar used hood ornaments...and also Rolls Royce ;) and you can't call a hood ornament a design signature. And belive me, i don't fell joy saying that about Mercedes...I used to be Mercedes's Nr. 1 fan. Now i like Bimmers and Audi more...the only Merc i still love is the G-class
